In 2019, the Dutch government launched an awareness campaign to inform the public about the dangers of disinformation.[1]
The Dutch government is one of contributors to the International Visegrad Fund who among other initiatives works to combat Russian disinformation in Europe.[2]
Face checking is well established within the Netherlands with groups like Nieuwscheckers at Leiden University.[3]
