In 2015, the National Security Bureau, adopted the Cybersecurity Doctrine to combat cybercrime, attacks on telecommunications systems, data and identification theft.
Private groups such as Demagog, Fake Hunter, and Stop Fake all fact check media in Poland. Further, InfoOps conducts research on disinformation campaigns. Additionally, the Centre for Propaganda and Disinformation Analysis raises awareness about disinformation campaigns.
The 2017 ‘Concept of Defence of the Republic of Poland" cited Russian disinformation as a threat to Poland.
The Ukrainian Prism Foreign Policy Council said that at present Poland has limited expertise and capacity to combat foreign disinformation.
