The Reality Report Media

The Reality Report is a group that operates transnationally and disseminates white nationalist and antisemitic content. The group is based in the U.K. and has links to the United Kingdom Independence party. The began spreading disinformation claiming that the 2020 presidential election was fraudulent and gained a larger following in the US though this content. They utilized cross posting on reddit, facebook, twitter, 4 chan to reach as wide an audience as possible.

They used more mainstream content publicly to attract their audience and added small amounts of extremism. They tried to get their followers to utilize Telegram in order for to ensure their conversation was encrypted. Once on Telegram they showed their more extreme content related to anti-semitism, anti-immigration, COVID denial, and other far right technics.

They tried to utilize red-pilling, whereby they would first leverage widespread grievances and then introduce people to more extreme content.

Additionally they utilized the techniques of typosquatting, fake expert, uncontextualized information, and demanding unsurmountable proof.
